Juneau Chamber of Commerce CEO Cathie Roemmich to sit on panel that lobbies Congress

Juneau, Alaska – The U.S. Chamber of Commerce today announced the selection of an Alaskan to sit on a panel that represents chamber of commerce members from across the country.
Cathie Roemmich, CEO of the Juneau Chamber of Commerce, has been picked to sit on the national organization’s Committee of 100.
“It is an honor to have been picked to help represent Alaska chambers of commerce before a prominent and influential group like the U.S. Chamber of Commerce,” Roemmich said.
“I look forward to having the opportunity to highlight issues that are important to Alaska such as energy, fishing, tourism, mining, small businesses, and economic development.
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Committee of 100 engages with the U.S. Chamber’s board of directors and helps with the organization’s lobbying and coalition work, programming, and outreach to businesses and local communities.

Welcomes Eleven New Members

WASHINGTON, D.C.— The U.S. Chamber of Commerce today welcomed eleven new executives to its Chamber of Commerce Committee of 100.  These CEOs will represent chamber of commerce members from across the country before the U.S. Chamber’s board of directors, enhance Chamber lobbying and coalition work, recommend programming, and strengthen outreach to businesses and local communities.
