Message from the Executive Director

SB 6 Stalls in House State Affairs   Thursday April 9, 2015

After nearly two hours of statewide testimony at this morning’s hearing on SB-6, Representative Bob Lynn, Chair of the House State Affairs Committee stopped taking testimony in view of time and created a subcommittee to take further testimony on SB 6. Their work will be done between now and “next January” when House State Affairs will review the findings of their work.
The newly formed subcommittee will be chaired by Representative Wes Keller along with two members, Representative Liz Vazquez and Representative Jonathan Kreiss-Tomkins.  We will track the scheduling of the subcommittee meetings and keep everyone informed as to how you can continue to work on this issue.
Thanks to all of you who called, wrote, emailed or testified on the issue. Your input was important and clearly made a difference.

Thank you,

Craig E. Dahl
Executive Director
