Supporting the Offerer's Preference

The Juneau Chamber of Commerce supports the "Offerer's Preference" and recognizes the removal of the Alaska Offeror's Preference puts Alaska companies at a disadvantage in competing against outside firms, and would result in the loss of a significant number of Alaska jobs by shipping those jobs outside Alaska; therefore the Juneau Chamber of Commerce opposes the passage of HB 225 if it eliminates the Alaska Offer's Preference.
