Juneau Chamber of Commerce Survey Results
Energy Crisis Survey
The Juneau Chamber of Commerce presented a proposal to the Assembly that would have used monies from the Sales Tax Surplus fund (Rainy Day funds) to cover rate increases due to diesel surcharges for the June 16th and July 16th billing cycles – for all individuals and businesses. The May 16th billing cycle only covered grants to qualifying individuals based upon income, and loans to qualifying businesses. JCC’s plan was voted down by the Assembly.
